Chris, later joined by Leon, then infiltrates Arias's safe house, defeats Diego and rescues Rebecca. On the terrace, Chris engages Arias in close-quarter combat and throws Arias through the glass terrace below to his demise.
Diego then arrives and, despite being badly injured after being defeated by Chris, merges with Arias to form a new Tyrant monster. Chris is no match against the Tyrant until Leon joins the fight after working his way through the safe house, mowing down zombies.

I thought Degeneration was good, but the pacing seemed slightly off and the story wasn't particularly good. Damnation was better overall, but none of the action scenes stood out as being quite as cool as the Leon parkour sequence in Degeneration.
This one I would say is the best out of the 3. The character arcs and chemistry between Leon, Chris, and Rebecca were all solid too, and I thought the supporting cast and antagonist, while maybe not incredibly well fleshed out, were lively and gave the leads some good room for interaction.
The starting sequence in the manor had some genuinely creepy imagery, and the ending action scenes had me grinning the entire time.
Amazing choreography, hype as all get out moments of willpower from Chris and Leon, and some genuine tension.
A worthwhile film, and a film I think might be easier for newcomers to get into than either Degeneration or Damnation. All I can say is I'm giddy for the possibility of another CG film.
With Resident Evil 7 not exactly bringing the RE characters I love so much, I'm glad to see there is an outlet for me to see more of my characters in a few tense horror scenes and a lot of excellent action scenes.
This movie is extremely disappointing. I've been a long time Resident Evil fan and enjoyed the first two animated movies, but this just wasn't good.
It starts out good enough, capturing the essence of Resident Evil but it soon devolves into nonsensical action that will make you roll your eyes.
The only real highlight for me was the fact that the movie centers around my three favorite RE protagonists: Chris, Leon and Rebecca.
Unless you're a diehard RE fan there is no reason to watch this. On a side note, the animated films are still light years ahead of the live action abominations.

I felt they dragged on and over complicated some action scenes for an example: As a nerd, I kind of felt that Chris should have been portrayed as more of a charging bull in a china shop Like he did in the games but they portray him with over thought out, unnecessarily complicated action scenes his climactic battle in the end where they seem to just flip around and shoot needlessly at the ground.
I'm a fan of gun-kata using a gun in a way or form it's like a martial art but it's something that seemed more fitting to Leon's character.
It felt like a missed opportunity for some awesome interaction which could have been a contrast between Leon's nimble agility and Chris's brute force and how they're tactics could compliment each other.
